What We Do
Our strategic plan highlights six key areas of opportunity for the growth of our region. You can download that below, and for a full copy of our strategic plan, please reach out.
Market Research + Data
Whether it's economic data to help a community secure grant funding or economic impact reports to help companies secure the ideal incentive package, we gather and share powerful, proprietary information from across four notable softwares to fuel regional growth.
Tourism Support
Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia are blessed with both remarkable natural beauty and talented tourism organizations. BRIDGE supports regional tourism campaign development and marketing efforts to drive positive tax benefits to our communities, while improving talent attraction and quality of life benefits.
Real Estate Development
Private investment in commercial, industrial, residential, retail, and recreational properties strengthens communities. Yet not all developers are familiar with economic development and incentive programs available in different communities. By serving as a bridge between developers and interested communities, BRIDGE supports successful private development and deliberate, sustainable community growth.
Air Service Development
We're working with Tri-Cities Airport to attract new passenger service. Doing so will open new markets for business outreach, while the increase in supply will lower the average fare for all flights. The resulting upswing in travel will allow the airport to recapture business that has leaked to other airports, while driving tourism and general business travel from other markets to our region.
Talent Attraction + Retention Support
BRIDGE collaborates with young professionals organizations in the region to help communities retain existing talent, while at the same time working with our private partners to more effectively market the region to attract new talent.
Site Development
Strong communities make a strong region. BRIDGE supports communities in developing land and buildings into projects, jobs, and investment. By assisting interested communities identify and evaluate developable properties, and by collaborating with regional utility suppliers and state and local economic development entities, we help those communities become more attractive to outside investment and job creation.
